And the number is growing every day.

Don’t miss CHAWUMBA! 2014

 July 25-28, 2014
 Winston-Salem, North Carolina

First annual gathering of Stakeholder Health and friends!

It’s a long weekend of sharing ideas, learning about programs around the country that work, re-charging, imagining and celebrating together.

Stakeholder Health is a movement of people in hospital and health systems working to address the underlying causes of poor health in their communities by strategically shifting existing resources and partnering with diverse stakeholders.

Chawumba will give you a chance to go deep into the movement of spirit, science, and skill, renewing each so you can move toward your truest dreams. Our time together will be a mix of worship, fellowship and learning from each other in small group rotations as well as in assemblies. We’ll explore such areas as Strategic Partnerships; Deploying and Supporting community workers, navigators, etc; Portfolios for Vulnerable Populations & Mapping; Evaluations and Valuing; and more. The faculty includes teachers from the Stakeholder Health tribe—and you, if you have something to bring to celebrate, or to teach.

Chawumba begins Friday, July 25, at 5:00 p.m. and spans the whole weekend before closing Monday, July 28, at 3:00 p.m. Registration is $100. This fee covers some meals and incidentals. The event hotel is Hawthorne Inn and Conference Center ($72.00 per night).

To register for the event, or for more information, contact Dawn Hall at dmhall@wakehealth.edu or 336.716.0459. You will be billed closer to the date for your registration fee. Registration deadline is June 25, 2014. More information concerning housing and travel suggestions will be provided at the time of your registration.

We hope you will join us!
